{Gluten Free Fried Zucchini}

May 15th, 2012

This is a quick and simple recipe that Josh came up with, it is great for a snack or a nice appetizer before dinner.

This is what you’ll need:

2 zucchinis, 3 eggs, garlic salt, red chili powder, red mill gluten free baking flour and canola oil.

Cut up the zucchini into 1/4 in. slices

Put the beaten eggs and flour into separate bowls and add your oil to the skillet.

Add the garlic salt and chili powder to the flour.

Dip the zucchini into the egg first and then into the flour. Make sure you get a nice amount of flour on the zucchini.

It is best to put only about four or five in at a time . This way the pieces are easier to flip and you won’t need as much oil.

Once golden brown, remove the zucchini from skillet and place them on a paper towel. This will soak up any extra oil.

We also added some onion rings to the mix!

These go great with either ranch or honey mustard sauce to dip in. Pour yourself a nice cold beer and enjoy!

New Jersey/Vermont Easter Vacation

April 27th, 2012

Our trip started off in New Jersey, but before we knew it, Lauren and I were in the car with my family and on our way to attend a wedding and celebrate Easter in Vermont. After a long 8 hours of everyone being crammed in the car together, we arrived at our beautiful house that was situated on Lake Bomossen. The views were outstanding and made for some great shots during the trip!

We had the chance to stop at Long Trail Brewery for a tour, lunch and a Vermont pint (20oz).

A little day trip to the Vermont Country Store.

I snapped this great shot of Lauren as she was totally immersed in the snow. Being the Florida girl that she is, these moments don’t happen often.

Lauren took this amazing picture of the sky at sunset. She sees the world through great eyes.

These last two photos were taken in Philadelphia. I grew up and spent the first 29 years of my life living right outside of this great city!

It was really great being able to travel to Vermont again. I used to go there every year with my family while growing up and it will always be a place where I feel at home, even though it never was. It was Lauren’s first time visiting the state and she got her wish of seeing snow! Great trip!

Taste of South Tampa Couples

April 18th, 2012

This past Sunday, we decided to hit the streets of Tampa to meet and photograph some nice couples who live in the area. The place we chose this time was A Taste of South Tampa held in Hyde Park Village. This was an event for restaurants to set up tents and allow everyone to sample the best food they have to offer. The sun was shining and the food, music, and people were great!

{Kelly & Ricky} Engagement Shoot!

February 15th, 2012

I met Kelly and Ricky at the Great Bridal Expo here in Tampa last February. They were very excited about their recent engagement and that excitement carried over into what turned out to be a beautiful and extraordinary beachfront engagement shoot.

The shoot took place at The Postcard Inn on St. Pete Beach. The weather was great and the couple lit up the camera!

I love and recommend engagement shoots for all couples because it allows me to get to know the couple and how they interact in front of the camera before their wedding day. It also allows the couple to get comfortable in front of the camera and to get use to my style of shooting. This day was filled with much love and happiness! Congratulations Kelly and Ricky, my best of wishes for you on your upcoming wedding!

{Kassi & Matt} Ybor Garden’s Wedding

July 14th, 2011

When I first met Kassi I knew her wedding was going to be so much fun. She had explained how she loved antiques and how Matt loved to skate board and they were going to try and incorporate both into their wedding day! I love when couples put their personalities into their wedding, it makes it that much more unique. Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Thank you so much to Desilyn McKeage for second shooting with me!

Baby Landon {Tampa Newborn Photo’s}

March 29th, 2011

Let me introduce baby Landon, he is probably one of my favorite babies! He has so much personality for such a little one and even though it was a bit challenging to get him to cooperate for his first photo shoot, it was still a lot of fun to watch this little guy. Both his parents are so amazing and loving to him, his mom (my acupuncturist, she is amazing!) speaks to him in Vietnamese and his dad speaks to him in English so that he will be bilingual when he grows up. It is so neat to listen to her talk with him and to watch his eyes light up!

Isn’t he so cute, he looks like a little Buddha here!

Him and his daddy have the same toe’s!

Landon showing off how strong he is!

Also a couple of days ago Chelsea and Gabe’s engagement was featured on Valley & Co. Blog, go check it out and give them some love!
